Is there any suggestion what minimum gear you should get before entering Delve without having Delve or REM? It's a good reason to unsubscribe if this is how the game will be like in future updates.

Adoulin gear is made for Adoulin content. Everytime SE implements a new expansion, usually the gear sold at NPCs are made to be on par for that area.
