Congestion: Behemoth's Dominion

My wife came home at 1730, and immediately traveled to meet me at the back of the line in Behemoth's Dominion with her main and alternate account character. It's now 1830 and we have 10 people ahead of us; we are still waiting to use our first 3 pops.. On our combined accounts, we have enough points for approximately 100 pop items.

There is no way we can possibly get through them all. This is completely absurd! We activated additional characters to pay you for points, went through the entire effort of logging in daily with 3 accounts worth of characters, and now we're going to run out of time before we can spend the points because there is no way to hold more than 1 item at a time.

If all of our effort earning these points ends up wasted because of your lack of foresight, you can bet I will deactivate these characters and refuse to reactivate them for the next campaign. I won't pay you to waste my time.

The simple and most cost-effective solution for you as a company is to remove the expiration date on points so that congestion eases from the endless numbers of people trying desperately to get a defending ring before time runs out.

The problem isn't the congestion. The problem is I have about 90000 points across my characters that I'm going to lose when the campaign ends, because I can't spend them because of the congestion. So what was the purpose of activating those characters and logging in daily for the points?

Was I supposed to literally do nothing but try to claim the ??? in Behemoth's Dominion for the last few weeks, every day, all day, all night? Because the only way I could have spent them is that, and that assumes others didn't do the same. It's stupid of them to reward us for giving them money (making and activating mules for the login campaign), then take the rewards away by setting an arbitrary timer on when they can be used. The reason it's stupid is because I won't pay them during their next such activity, and they want my money. I'm surely not the only one here.

Also, no, I haven't waited until the last day. I have been doing as many as I could throughout the event. I have 3 accounts with more than 10 characters each with 3 points worth, and I also have to still do Mog Gardens daily, grind bayld to do WK's before they end up being impossible like WoE, participate in LS events, Delve for plasm, etc..etc..etc. FFS, whenever I came here, it was just like this. EVERY DAY. FOR WEEKS. So don't act like I'm the problem here.

Its not like they said "Hey boys and girls go activate as many characters as you possibly can, this month you get free behemoth pops for every character, so activate them all and give us money! >" They had a campaign, you could have done it with just one character, like me, and been fine, but you threw money at them for more, and now complain because your losing some pops. Yes, I think in all of this you are part of the problem. Should they solve congestion when its one of the most popular reasons they give out for not doing things? Hell yes, but its not only their fault...

So what you are saying is that for the login campaign, I should have activated less characters. And what I'm saying is that if they don't deal with this, then for the next one I will take your advice. What SE should be saying is, "We better fix this because it's going to cost us money." And that is the conversation (good job restating my point though). Also, it's 1915 and we're still waiting to do our first 3 pops for the night. That's 2hrs of waiting to do 3 pops, followed by a warp back and various logging to mules/trading, followed by another 2hrs of waiting to do 3 pops again. And then my glowing reports to people considering returning about how much fun the game is now that so much of the old BS "wait to play" stuff has been fixed... oh wait.

That's exactly what they were hoping you'd do, fella. That's 2$ additional per character, per account, per server, and the bottom line is always what it's about.

Honestly, they should have put those king pops up for 4k points or not at all.

If your stupid enough to activate a bunch of characters for something like this just so you can abuse the characters for extra points then go ahead. I will do with the points I get on my main character. I see no need nor purpose to activate a bunch of extra wastes of space just so I can get a few more points and get a few more pops so I can come here to complain in a month about how I didn't get to pop them all or I had to stand in like 2 weeks in a row to pop them all.
