    On a lighter note...

I have some lore questions regarding Seeker's of Adoulin, perhaps I haven't discovered the right sidequest yet, or perhaps the answers are yet to unfold, but three questions I have are:

-Why are there no undead mobs in Ulbuka?
-Why are there no chocobos? I understand waypoints are a fantastic transport option, but do they not live there at all?
-Why do you suppose there are no free-roaming and/or lottery spawn NMs? (maybe this aspect has nothing to with lore)

These questions aren't criticism, just curiosity!

I believe that being in close proximity to a certain structure and the nature around it would make it so undead don't appear, also the ulbukan territory hasn't been acessed by the likes of you and me for a very very long time, It's pristine nature so I'd assume things like human spirits and skeletons wouldn't be out there, at least thats how id explain the first part.

Second part I'd explain just the same. Closed gates, and it's a maritime city so they might have chocobos.... who knows

as to the third I wonder this myself... seing as how "Wild" the ulbukan territories are there certainly aren't very powerful NM's roaming around.

Technically the Umbrils are undead and you fight a fomor for Reive Unity KI.

Until the pioneering push the Adoulinians didn't venture out much and it would be a pain to have to walk your cho a lot while you hack through the brush.

Free roam NMs is probably a technical thing and delve NMs are their replacement.

the only thing similiar about umbrils and undead are their spawn times, they take no cure damage and banish has no effect on their defense, however they are weak to magic attacks and have good phys defense

Umbrils are elementals, not undead. Take a look, it's in a book, in the Celennia Memorial Library!

    1. I think it's because of the lack of the 5 races leaving town. We do have that one Mithra fomor for the reive unity quest. I'm not complaining, though. I appreciate being able to safely run around weakened after a so-called "Shortsighted" Panopt has violated me.

    2. There was no need (storywise) until recently, but unless you get some new breed of badass chocobos, those Knotted Roots will make them ineffective in no time.

    3. Player feedback. People wanted forced spawns only. We got it. But I think it takes some excitement out of exploring.

    My question is this:

Why don't Velkk have some sort of culture or backstory? Will they ever get one? So far, their story is just, "They're stupid." We need some Velkk NMs.

Gotta wait for enough players to die... then maybe some undead will appear D:

On a serious note. If undead are implemented, I hope it won't like the skeletons in WoE flux 11 =p
