Elemental Magic broken with Primeval Brew

Since the update using primeval brew it has no effect on elemental magic. I nuke exactly the same as I do without brew. With the exception of Meteor which did about 3k extra. Previously was doing 50k+ with nukes during brew, now doing 5-8k. Is this because of the reformatting of elemental magic?

I also encountered this today when I tried brewing Isgebind, though I was using Aeolian Edge on 99THF/49SCH.
Aeolian Edge was regularly hitting for about 500 damage, occassionally hitting ~4k (presumably Windstorm activation?) and SC Detonation (Aeolian Edge > Aeolian Edge) ~1k damage. With the exception of the occassional 4k AE, damage seemed to be completely unaffected by brew.
