Suspension of Character Creation on Certain Worlds

Is it possible to allow character creation for a least a couple weeks before the update and merger. In example, my friend would love to play, but I'm not going to let him join if he can't join the same world as me. Surely this is possible.

As part of preparation for the World Merge, the following services have been suspended on 16 worlds that are designated as Source Worlds and Destination Worlds. These services are scheduled to be reinstated upon the completion of the World Merge.

- Issuing Gold World Pass on designated worlds
