The random moogle in upper jeuno? I keep seeing one and before I approach it, it'll disappear. I think the game is haunted.

There's one in Lower Jeuno aswell, and in Southern San d'Oria [S]. Glitch that's been around for years.

The only thing you'll be able to do with it is access your delivery box, though. Your storage is inaccessible and you cannot change jobs.
I must try this out, and perhaps make a creepy ghost story behind it.
There are also random invisible walls in Jueno, namely the one by the exit to battalia downs.
Ancient bug where Moogle doesn't unload from memory when you exit MH, so it gets slapped at the equivalent of a 0,0 position on the map you exit out to. Targetting it forces a server check for an update, which causes it to disappear since the Moogle shouldn't be available in that area.
Reason the MH menu comes up if you can click it is because that's handled client-side. Used to be an ancient bug before that where you were able to change jobs and what not via it, but got patched out when people wrote a hack that allowed them to access said menu anywhere in the game, allowing them free HP/MP by job-changing on the fly.
Those were weird old times when FFXI was innocent and trusted the client too much.....
