How fast is fast?

Hmmm I had in mind RDM for fastcast/convert/phalanx/ refresh to sub with WHM to help in survival for Adoulin.

Phalanx compliments -PDT and Stoneskin.

Thief is for Treasure Hunter, useful for earning gil, farm quest items and helps you get around the game independently if you have no gil or help from others.

You dont' need money, everything is rare/ex now.
Do war because you can kill faster in your solo to eitehr 10 for burn or 30 for aby.
Whm though dose get you an easier in for any event, ut like you said, you will have to spend money on it. There's no way aroudn that on whm.

Well if you are starting a brand new account, you do need gil. Silent oil, prism powder can be pretty high in price when first starting the game with absolutely nothing.

That was my take on how to get past maps fastest way possible. Also need some basic gear to play in Gusgen mines. And as WHM, RDM need to buy spells.

Gear and food contributes to how fast you can speed level up until you reach Abyssea.

My point of view was based on as if I start a brand new account how fast could I reach 99, skip a good portion of content and earn a delve weapon/gear.

Ok I just thought thief helps in earning gil to support buying spells also but good to know this

I went from a new account to 99 in 3 weeks. Had to farm a bit and do enough missions/quests to be able to reach 99 without being in chocobo gear.
