Petition: Changes to Requiescat

Please make the following changes to make Blue Mages more competitive in today's game.

Change the mod of Requiescat from MND to STR and remove the attack penalty. This would be a easy adjustment to a job that's getting left in the mog house unless special circumstances arrive ie SA+ BT spam is needed.

Requiescat would be fine as it is if we could use Chant du Cygne on a weapon that's presently worth a quarter of a damn. The special property on it makes it amazing as a situational weaponskill and the high fTP makes it great against weaker enemies. Being forced to use Requiescat as a general purpose weaponskill, however, sucks sometimes.

If the tentative plans to enable WoE weapons to transfer Empyrean weaponskills get the kibosh, something should definitely be done about the situational merit weaponskills such as Requiescat (only good on certain monsters) and Apex Arrow (only good at 300% TP), and the generally mediocre merit weaponskills such as Blade: Shun.

don't need both changes dropping the attack penalty and keeping it mnd or making it str with an attack penalty would still leave it in a great position considering its special ability, tho considering rdm uses this the mnd option with no penalty is probably the better of the 2.

I'd be happy with the attack penalty being removed. As someone who has played blu as a my main for years I feel the devs need to do something to help us out. Being almost completely shut out of delve because none of the 5 lv99 jobs I have are welcome there has really limited my options for weapons for my blu. I tried using the Skirmish sword paired with the forefront blade to see how my dmg output would go.....and I quickly gave up on using resq. Even at only lv 85 I still prefer my Almace and cdc paired with a str/atk magian sword. Hopefully I'll finally get the Morimar t4-5 ki one day, or even a megaboss run there but chances of that happening are slim. I just can't let my Almace go for anything less than the delve swords. Not to mention that it took me over a year just to get my Almace.

Stardiver doesn't have an attack penalty, Drakesbane does. Stardiver is in the top 5 best merit WSs.

Shoha, Resolution, Ruinator, Shijin Spiral, and Stardiver are the "elite" of the bunch. The rest range from terribad to acceptable.

Last stand is missing up there somewhere

Last Stand's lead over other ranged weaponskills, Slug Shot and Coronach in particular, has become nearly non existent. It isn't any better than "acceptable".
