It would be nice to have auto-translate on the forum.
I developed a MOD for phpBB that does this, but it seems SE is using vB here.

Necrobump (rather then make a new thread suggesting this).
Being able to use Auto-Translate in the forums would be amazing and make these forums feel more and more like FFXI. Plus we'd be able to discuss stuff in the server forums despite language gaps.
Thats why we have different forums for different languages. You just can't get a decent discussion going with just auto-translators. And even if there was a universal translator, you would be hard pressed getting JP to use it.
Most JP will only use auto-translate when they need something from non-JP, such as items. Anymore more is difficult to explain with the limited number of phrases available. And then there are probably some cultural and convenience reasons as well.

I can't wait to see the slew of suggestions and lengthy comments on developer notes fully autotranslated in a style that puts the legendary {May}{Bee} and {Reward} to shame.
