    Walk of Echoes

I wanted to share my feedback on the last revision to walk of echoes (a couple patches back I think).
Love it. I think the mob difficulty has been reduced to more reasonable levels for an event that isn't very popular anymore. I went with a random group of 12 or so, and none of us were forced into using pet jobs which made it more fun than I'd ever had there.

I've always enjoyed Walk of Echoes, but being able to try out new jobs there or even skill up now and still have a reasonable chance of clearing it makes it even more fun. I'm hopeful down the road we'll see similar refinements to older content.

One thing that would be awesome is a quick way to reach WoE, and not being forced to zone out>zone in.
Couldn't they give us a permanent KI that we can use once per in-game hour instead of forcing us to the constant zoning?

And a special item that you can buy from King Kupofried or whatever that grants you a warp to WoE once every 20hrs would be an awesome addition.
Most of the times I dont' go to WoE because I cbb to go to old cities first and then warp to xarc etc.

I agree but I think one of the reasons they did it this way was to prevent players from zoning out and back in replenishing temp items. And further extend the use of buffs such as primeval brew.

If you can't enter more than once per hour it doesn't really matter, people won't go out of the Flux to get different random temps.
I'm fine with the once per hour entry, I'm not fine with the need of having to zone out and in to get another Kupofried thingy, it's just retarded.
    (imho, of course)

Pretty sure they've done away with the once per hour entry. Last time I did WoE, I picked up 2 medallions during the same game day.

    Uhm did they?
    I suppose it could be.

But, personally, I still think that it's annoying being forced to zone out. Couldn't they put a "???" or something to get another medallion inside? There are several solutions they could think of if what they want to avoid is people going out and back in again from the same flux over and over.
I mean, it's the whole baseline of how it works that it's unfriendly and annoying.

Yes, it's way better than it used to be and it's undeniable and I apreciate this, but clearly there is more to be done if they want people to enjoy this events more.
Easier transportation and more seamless/friendly ways to obtain the necessary means to enter fluxes are two things to be thinking about, for instance.

Altough at this point I get the impression they don't really care much for everything that's not SoA-related content and that they won't fix/touch anything, except for major troubles.

The forced zoning is because they couldn't bother scripting up something that removes your temps upon exiting a battlefield, so the zone is there to clear it.

As for entry, there's no time limit these days. Can spam all day if you want, although you'll have to alternate between fluxes since they still have their 15 some minute cooldown after a successful run. Most of the flux are a joke for a BST, or DD + WHM duo to go through also. Will be easy pouch farming whenever Coin Weapon WS become unlockable and everyone flocks to WoE.

Just wish they'd adjust the zone entry flux by letting you both buy and enter at the same time. Having to click the flux twice is redundant. If I buy the KI, of course the intention is to enter the zone.

They did remove the 1hr cooldown, I agree there could be some minor tweaks as mentioned above to make it easier to get to, and obtain new KIs, but by and large these are minor issues, and I think the overall content has been adjusted to a level that makes it fun and still challenging if you only have 6-12 people. Rewards are still relevant too I might add!

WoE was one of the many things about FFXI that I GREATLY enjoyed, but getting a group together for it is a headache at best. If they would add new tiers with items somewhere close to Bayld gear item levels, to respark the lost interest in WoE I would be extremely happy. Some times I'd just sit in a town and shout to get interested people together to do some WoE. 9/10 times I would only end up with 4-5 people >.>

^Yeah you can do fluxes as many times as you want without limit, you can even exit and go back into the same flix you left but then you need to totally exit and purchase a new Ki to re-enter however, if players complete a certain % of the zone being played, I believe over 50% or 60% then the zone becomes locked so no other members can enter until its cleared and stand by time is over.

But asking if they can change it means asking a whole team of developers, programmers, to recode, debug, retest, and alter or add new graphic details which means a team of graphic designers, artist, I mean... That's what I would imagine...
