    I concur, again I'm not saying they shouldn't make them just keep the challenge present throughout the chain of completion... Just throwing in my two cents... not like the developers listen to us anyways lol....

    @oddwaffle the fact that you are using 3rd party software implies your inability to follow the guidelines SE has set in place which would imply your breaking the rules to become OP in the first place... especially when they said they never really intended people to macro swap out every piece of gear to be able to play this game correctly in the first place.

    While I'd never argue with inventory -, I think the need for this is smaller on gorgets because you typically don't need more than one or two of them at any given time.

    They kind of do as they know full well that players will do so yet they continue to design situational or minimal use pieces. As long as these multiple optimum set ups are available players will be pressured to use them at end game.

    it saddens me that this is the mindframe most take when it comes to playing MMOs.... It is a legitimate view and i wish SE would adress it only because it deters me from playing to my potential because i can't multi everything...

    When players asked about a more potent stoneskin, SE replied that there's a few stoneskin enhancing pieces out there, so they wouldn't be making changes at this time.

    They certainly do intend for us to make a ridiculous amount of swaps.

    Also, if they ever actually intended LSs to be downing 6/6 bosses in delve, they certainly did intend for intense gear swapping. If all your DD are tping in WS sets, WSing in TP sets, or doing both in their -DT sets, the speed of a kill really drastically changes.

    Honestly there is no way in hell that SE can use the excuse that a chatoyant obi or gorget would be "overpowered" after releasing delve weapons.

    Why not? Twilight Scythe was over powered a month before Skirmish weapons, 2 months before Delve weapons.

    Twilight scythe was never good for anything. It had one use, I used it one time, to DESTROY an elemental in abyssea, and it was -AWESOME- lol!

    That's. Literally. It. Even if they never changed it, you wouldn't see anyone use it, Not only is it an lol scythe. Its base damage is trash compared to what these new bandwagoned MNKs with Oatixur do with formless strikes.

    That's way off topic though. It's like apples v oranges. It would really only be an inventory issue. If you wanted to make a valid comparison;

    You would compare a chatoyant obi/gorget/belt to a Gjallerhorn. It really has no practical advantage to being used over each individual instrument, AND it has a 100,000,000 price tag. But do people make them, hell yes they do.

    (now realize, gjallerhorn has +1 higher than any other instrument, but be realistic. +1 isn't mind blowing.)

    I made my comment because I find it funny that 2 months after the terribly needed Twilight Scythe nerf, they added weapons twice as powerful as everything else in the game...

    If you have not caught on, I am pointing out the stupidity of that nerf, as you said, it didn't matter, it had use only for its additional effect, and they intentionally killed that effect, making it 100% worthless, before it had some use at least on the Hydra in Salvage or things like it, after the change, nothing at all.

    It wouldn't be but they should keep it's power in check as they did with building all the obi's and gorgets
