    "I noticed when I attempt to login to POL, get to FFXI and get to Character selection screens, sometimes the request times out, asks to retry, immediately works. Still cannot login with main character."

    I noticed same thing.^^

    Yea, I was getting the same thing. trying to log in and say server busy and try again. Once I try again, I'm able to log in and select a character. Not able to log into my main one, but was able to log into a different character
