1) Linkshell embles/shield crestsOnly if they make them customizable. They are quite ugly.2) Retainers/bazaar mulesWhile I agree, many don't think so, and they do contribute to the roleplay factor regardless. It's good, but I'd never use it.3) Better crafting systemWell this is more than just convenience. There are many people who have second accounts just to mule/bazaar efficiently. Although getting rid of that may not necessarily be in SE's best interest, it is still a very practical feature. No, not in the slightest. Crafting should not be a mini game.4) More teleport pointsWhy not? I dislike the random win/lose thing. Regardless, I wasn't asking for a minigame, just something to make it more appealing. As I said, I don't want them to just copy the game style. But you have limited uses.5) Show status effects of party membersStill allows for easier access. And again, it doesn't necessarily have to be the same.As a WHM, I like this idea, but it'd put too much on the screen in large PTs.6) Show remaining time on own effectsAgreed, however it could be reduced to only important status effects or restricted to one party.I think this is unessisary, too many variables.7) Multiple linkshells equippedNot sure how those are related, it should be easy enough to determine.Wasn't a fan of that feature.8) Better chatlog filtering/organizing, customizable tabs, different log windowsI wouldn't use it either, but it opens possibilities to people who could use it.
9) Minimap on the screenSE already stated that this was unimplementable in FFXI.10) Customizable HUDOh? Must have missed that. Still, it is a feature XIV has that would improve XI.{Please use the auto translate function.}11) Using the numpad to input numbersBeing able to adjust the position of screen elements, chatlog, HP bar, Party list, etc.You can already.12) Built-in IME supportNot the last time I checked, although admittedly that may have been some time ago. Did they change that?
13) No POL, better/faster login and updates
14) Specific market wards
15) Designated bazaar area
16) Searchable bazaars
Anyway, this is not an official list or anything, just some things I noticed about XIV that seemed more advanced than XI's facilities. Some of them are basic to implement (Numpad), others more complex (IME), some are minor features (Linkshell emblems), others are huge (Retainers). Either way, this game still has lots of things it could use from XIV, just as the other way around.
