    EU code in US

Hello, my wife and i came back to the game recently and tried to buy the new expansion. I cannot use the code for my wifes account cause its EU.

Her and I met through this game are ever greatful for it but now that we both live in Canada i find it near impossible to get a EU code and thought with the square enix accounts that it would finally be over. We have an unused code for the complete FFXI series since we wanted the extra's which both work with her account.

Is there anyway i can talk to someone @ SE and exchange the code for a EU one?

You cannot add EU codes to already existing NA accounts. I've tried. You can use an EU code to create a fresh account in the US, though. SE was unwilling to swap my code for one that was of the appropriate region, because they don't really like their customers all that much.

Just get on the Steam of the region you want a code for and buy another.

If you live in canada it might be difficult to buy an EU steam code.

    Hello Chris,

I have done as you instructed as I have the same problem but then the other way around.
I am a European player with a North American account.

The answer given to me by Square-Enix support is highly unsatisfactory:
Thank you for contacting SQUARE ENIX support,

Unfortunately we do not have a specific location we can send you to to purchase titles published (or being supported) by SQUARE ENIX, as we do not have information on stock and availability.

I have compiled a short list of official retailers which may be able to assist you.

    http://store.na.square-enix.com/stor...isplayHomePage
    http://www.amazon.com
    http://www.bestbuy.com
    http://www.gamestop.com

We invite you to contact these retailers and inquire if they have a copy of the game you are looking for.

We apologize we cannot assist further at this time.

Thank you for contacting the SQUARE ENIX Support Center.
Neither of the above mentioned websites will sell a North American code for Seekers of Adoulin to me because I do not live in the US.
The only other ways for me to get one is to either give up a false address (commit identity fraud, hurray!) or see if I can trust overseas strangers enough (and get them to trust me enough) to buy me a code...
