Continuing FFXI Monthly Fee Discount

We're no longer also paying for work on new content, because of ps2 limitations. Thus the price should be lowered or ps2 support demolished. I'll pay it nonetheless, until the game dies, which won't take long without expansions.

Abyssea wasn't new content it was zones that already existed reskinned with different mobs that were just rehashes of mobs outside of abyssea. Don't get me wrong, it's fun, but it's not really new content, just different quests and items in rehashed zones.

That is still additional content.

I understand what you mean but I do not know if they will give new areas (not old ones revamped) they could even make ToAU like abyssea next .... just a thought

Content probably wasn't the right word. Perhaps I should've added an adjective. The problem here is there are so many adjectives I could've added. Such as: New Job Content, New Area Content, Non-rehashed textures Content, Full-length expansive Content, Expansion-pack level Content, the list goes on. Abbysea didn't add anything that was actually new to the game. You can argue that it added quests but, again, that's not what I am refering to. I want things like CoP and ToAU and WotG which are now impossibilities, yet I am still paying the same price per month.

I don't see why they don't just discontinue PS2 service and give all the PS2 users PC or 360 versions of all the content they've purchased. That way we could actually get brand-new areas, updated graphics, HD resolutions, and more than 30 FPS.
