SE doesn't care if you use windower, the concerns are hacks, viruses, etc. SE doesn't want to be held accountable for any nonsense that you may have done.

Idk about all that... While I believe they could easily detect the use of windower if they wanted to, I think the situation is so many people use it that it's in their best interest to just ignore it... Otherwise, all this trouble they're having lately with the UI, storage problems, macro limitations, etc... Windower solves all of those things... The company could save a ton of time, money, and grief by just copying (or buying I guess) the windower software and putting their own spin on it...

Yeah yeah, it won't work for console versions of the game... I'm pretty sure no one would really care all that much... If it's that much of a problem just continue working on the current plans but shut everyone else up in the mean time...

I'll give you that. Originally, SE probably cared. After analyzing the scenario, SE probably figured that it wasn't worth the effort. Given the effort that SE took against RMT and hacked/stolen accounts, I think its safe to say that windower isn't high on their priority list.

2) Stop wasting your time, because it's not going to happen. Just put the thought out of your head. People have been asking for this feature since the game's inception. Everybody that has ever wanted this feature has put for lucid, well reasoned protocols for such a system that make perfect business sense. And everyone has been brushed aside with icy resolve that comes in the form of an auto reply form letter. I know you think you thought of a perfect system, but it's been thought of, and requested, years before you. Hell, even yours truly submitted a lengthy suggestion back in like '05, I reasoned the pros & cons, and mixed in the right amount of consumer demanding, pleading, guilt tripping and a touch of thinly veiled begging. It fell on deaf ears.

I never said that I was the first to bring up this idea. If you read the first post, I even stated that I've brought this up before. Matter of fact, I brought it up before your beloved request in 2005. You mentioned an auto-reply, but I have not ever once received an auto reply. When I receive my auto-reply, then I'll consider dropping the subject.

Just because it hasn't been done in years means absolutely nothing. How many requests have been brushed off for years that SE decided to implement later? How many years have people asked to have a Moogle in the Dunes?

Get over yourself. Just because you were brushed off and obviously butt hurt about it, doesn't mean that everyone else should follow your path of failure. Instead, we need more people asking for it. Believe it or not, you have more power than you think, take the Xbox One as an example.
