Blue screen after opening up FFXI

Hello

After SOA, i am unable to play FFXI steady. It got worse to the point where i'm unable to play the game at all. I'll select my char on selection screen, character loads, then i get the blue screen. I tried reinstalling ffxi numerous times and even tried different drivers for my video card. Any help would be great. Thank you.

What exactly is the error message in the blue screen? There is a long list of things that can cause a BSOD--from something as simple as a corrupt swap file (which can be deleted/rebuilt) or a faulting memory card (could just be oxidation on the contacts, remove/refit may fix it--can be true for drop in cards as well), to bad drivers or corrupt files (might be fixed by checking the disk for errors)....the list can go on and on.

It should state a specific error in all caps, something like IRQ_NOT_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL_ZERO, and a numeric hex code (0x12345678). This may help pinpoint specifically what is failing, or at least narrow it down to something like the hard drive/hard drive controller, or a driver conflict.
