I've been levelling nin the old fashioned way and I can't count how many rdms have really made me want to /facepalm.

So... is there an official position on banning people who admit to using/advocate for others to use illegal addons? From the game, I mean, not just the forums (although even that would be something).

Cheating is horribly common in the game right now (to the point that people like this advocate for it without even thinking that they're doing so on SE's own official board!) and people who don't can be at a pretty significant disadvantage in some ways (gearswapping, seeing exact %HP to predict certain mob abilities, etc.).

...As for the main topic: PLD. Because if there's one thing more useless than a PLD right now, it's a PLD that doesn't even have shield and parry skill, and defensive skills are (slightly less so than before, but still) slow to level.

I don't see where I said I use spellcast? and funny how I play on xbox most of the time.

i abyssea'd Blu 30 - 90 >.> and took less than 2 weeks to cap skill (would of been less but work and RL get in the way :P )
plus while skillin up i learned spells in the process lol..

LOL you can't get Blue Mage spells till you get the skill up.

You only need one spell to skill up blue magic. And there are plenty of spells you can get with zero blue magic skill; This is all inspite of the fact that you need to get to level 30 before you can keybox in abyssea, so chances are you have learned a few. But you still won't be useful until you've gotten other spells. You've basically reinforced my point that rushing BLU to 90 doesn't save that much time, as most blue mages get the spells as they kill stuff to level. It's not like other mages where you can just whip out your vana'diel credit card and buy all the spells when you hit 90.

There's someone whose goal is to have an 85 almace, blue mage as the only job that can equip it, and 0 blue mage spells.

i soloed blu to 30 and got all spells for 30+ and when i did take it o abyssea i stop at 75 for 2days or so and worked on skill and spells which really didnt take to long with the blu AF gloves and body. i mostly rushed the levels and would work on skill and spels as something to do in spare time when ls mates wernt on to do stuff with etc. was like a hobby job i guess. but not like i did take time to get skill and spells to 75+ before continuing to 90, so i wouldnt be a complete mooch from those lv's :P
