FFXI-3305 - Unable to connect to world server. (Phoenix)

hello,
at the moment I and other people I know are unable to connect to Phoenix, even though the server is "UP" on playonline.

I'm getting the following error:
Error code: FFXI-3305
Unable to connect to world server.
Specified operation failed.

is this a known issue?

Its annoying. Why can't they show its not up on this website. It would be easier for me to find out when its back up than to keep the xbox 360 on.

Despite S-E claiming the problem is fixed, there's still issues abound. I've gotten the same message before trying to log in the game tonight, and even worse is that attempting to log out just results in my character being "stuck" healing and unable to move or send /tells, yet I'm still connected to the game... in this state I'll never log out until I forcibly disconnect my modem so I'll get booted three minutes later. This whole deal is becoming annoying; I hope S-E fixes this very soon.

I have the same problem but with Cerberus and it has been happening for a week now, any solutions yet?
