Recently my party both completed and failed Zhayolm Remnants in Salvage. We confirmed the kill message in our chat logs but we were kicked out moments after and didn't receive the title for kill credit. Naturally we were quite upset and I immediately sent a GM call detailing the problem. When I received a form response telling me to check the Q&A I became increasingly angry and sent another call stressing I had photographic evidence of the kill, which I do have a screenshot of the "XXXX defeats Battleclad Chariot." message.
GM Baudle quickly responded to my second GM call and explained that while he could sympathize with our plight, we just unfortunately weren't awarded the credit given the circumstances and not because of some glitch in the system. I had started the conversation angry but kept my wording neutral. GM Baudle's sympathy and great sense of humor quickly diffused my anger and we were able to discuss the details of the incident without any feelings of animosity between us. He responded quickly, remained professional and non-accusing(which I appreciate because as the group leader, I take failures personally and I would have flipped if he came on like "Well, you guys just weren't fast enough."), and his jokes put the smile back on my face after our failed run.
Thank you again GM Baudle for your time and understanding. Someone needs to give this guy a raise.
