Honestly not sure what all was reduced because I never cared about most of it but I know Warps and RR was reduced so far as I recall, and since someone compared it to this I figured they probably lowered gear at the same time, like I said though, never paid attention to gear so wouldn't know for sure.

Those were the only two prices reduced outright, but the base CP and IS earned per fight is based on EXP earned, so when they increased the EXP yield per monster they also increased CP and IS yield. On top of that, the IS and AN yield from Besieged and Campaign Battles*, respectively, were also (I believe) increased. The actual prices didn't go down, but the resulting inflation pushed the value of the points down, keeping it more or less equal to the real value of the gear the points purchase.
Assault Points, in contrast, never really got that kind of inflation: it's a bit easier to complete an Assault at 99 (except Lebros Supplies...), but we get no more Assault Points per Assault than we did when Treasures of Aht Urhgan was released, nor can we do Assaults any more frequently. So while the real value of Assault Points gear went down as we all went to level 99, the (value of the) prices did not.
* The rewards from Campaign Ops could probably stand to see a similar increase. I can't think of any "endgame" activities that doing so would "break."

Yeah, I was aware of those two, but not any gear becoming cheaper.
That being said though, I think it is about time to reduce CP cost for gear by something like equivalent to the ranks being two tiers lower. Rank 3 gear would cost the same as rank 1 gear etc. It might seem irrelevant to you and me because we already have tons of lv90+ gear, but it will seriously mitigate some of the frustration for new and returning players. It is simply kind of boring to wear the same gear forever (even if you technically don't need a lot of gear for smacking down EP and DC mobs), and when you look at the AH, everything is either sold out or inflated because old players don't care if they pay 20k for a lv5 weapon that they'll use for an hour or so. Then they might resort to conquest points to get some gear, but then they notice that because page exp is the primary source of exp, they can't even afford a single lv10 piece by the time they reach level 10,and even less so when they reach lv20, 30, etc. Prices should be lowered so that players would have enough CP to buy at least two pieces from whatever rank corresponds to their level, the first time they level something up.
To make a few examples, lv30 armor and weapons currently costs 4k CP, but at level 30, a new player will probably not be able to afford more than one item, if even that. And that's if they've saved all their CP from level1, not buying any other gear earlier. Lv50 gear costs 16k CP, and that's also completely unrealistic when pages don't give CP. Rank 3 should cost 1000 CP (what rank 1 currently costs), and rank 5 should cost 4000 CP (what rank 3 currently costs).
I recently took up DRK without burning it in abyssea, and I also changed nations recently and haven't fought much in conquest areas except on DRK. I am now level 72 and have 15k sandoria CP. That's not enough for even a single lv70 piece. Of course, I don't need any of the CP pieces, but like I said earlier, a new player could probably make use of a lot of the CP gear until they found better stuff.

Well since prices double each rank, and I think they start at what? 1k? It would be nice to lower them to something like 250, then each rank would double still so it would fall in line with what your saying.

You make good points, but I would want Expeditionary Force uncapped and see how that affects the CP "market" first before reducing prices outright. CP gear won't seem so expensive if you have an easy way of getting ~3000+ CP a week.
Hell, even if they're not uncapped, I'm tempted to try to throw a few together again once /yell gets introduced to starter nations.

On that note, I think they need to remove the 5 day wait time between campaign evaluations as well. I understand that they didn't want everyone to just get top rank and quit it in the first week, but now it's just a pain for no reason.
I keep going and doing campaign to get a rank. Then over the next 5 days I forget about it... until a month later when the guy says my medal is no good etc. and I lose the rank I got. So I do some more campaign and then forget about it again by the time another 5 days has past. I've been floating about 2-3 medals away from cap for like 2 years now lol.

Getting some mission progress would fix that problem.

Level caps should be taken off of ENMs, or at least just the "uncapped" ENMs (which are still capped at 75, and as far as I can think of, the only content in the game to still have a 75 cap)
