So, here's how I see the problem with Delve:
It isn't the power of the items, it's how quickly they will become accessible.
Suddenly the gear from bayld, salvage II, and ESPECIALLY the 100k Key-item Naakuals, looks completely like a waste of time. All you have to do is tag along on ONE successful NM kill with a group that's powered up on ochain and such, take down the NM, then grind out some low tier delve for corpuscles.
I like that they made the gear accessible via purchasing, but the problem is that without having pretty much ANY prerequisites to participate, like they had for the Naakuals, it means there isn't much incentive for players to really work through the gear leading up to it. One random /shout pick-up fight, one key item, and you can skip all the adoulin content nearly! And I'm saying this as someone who doesn't have a linkshell or anything capable of doing it, but am seeing shouts. It's a bit concerning when suddenly all the armor/weapons I've been eyeing are blown out of the water; but that's expected, new high-end content is supposed to be amazing. But the weird part is I feel the stuff is attainable, I've already got a few corpuscles just screwing around, and it'd just take one NM kill with a random group and I can replace half my gear with far superior stuff.
It seems backwards how hard it is to access Skirmish and Wildskeepers and how easy it is to jump in on Delve and reap the incredible rewards.
