    credit card validation

    I was forced to take a break from final fantasy for a few months and when i go to validate my payment information by clicking the launch browser link to take me to the website where i enter the password or whatever and it allows my information to go through, nothing happens. it minimizes the POL wndow and nothing happens, can anyone help me with this? reply to here or feel free to email me at firevrsice@yahoo.com

    ive disabled pop ups cleared my cookies, ive done everything i can think of. I called tech support and the guy pretty much said im sol.... ive never had trouble doing this before when comming back from breaks. please help me.

    Well, to start with, all servers are down atm due to the JP earthquake, supposed to be up again soon.
    Though I doubt that this will be trouble free. They still got rolling blackouts, and this will continue in the foreseeable time.
    Last thing they should waste power on is some bloody game servers really.

    The only ways to bypass that authentication if it isn't working for you are to call the support center and get them to add the card manually, or manage your account from the PS2 or Xbox 360 versions of FFXI, since they don't have web browsers and thus can't use that authentication.
