New to FFXI & New on Odin Server Need Friends Please :)

Hello as the title says i am about 1 day old to final fantasy and i have just started on Odin server... so far i been doing okey on my own and made some money selling crystals ect so im all good so far

I just wanted to know if there is any other new players like me in the game that would want to be friends so we can level uptogether or do stuff together or maybe anyone who could help me out with questions

I Did ask once on Odin server about a question but... it seems that they are rather rude and i am kinda having my doubts on makeing a new character on Odin server as it do not seem very new player friendly :/

Not on Odin, but good luck to you. I'm sure there are plenty of great folks you can meet here and in-game.

Most servers aren't incredibly new player friendly, but the key is to just keep at it until you find new people. Don't be afraid to just strike up a conversation or ask for help when you need it. There may be a few rude responses here and there but there are still plenty of nice people willing to help when you're in need.

The best place to ask, though it may be hard for you to get to being completely new, is Jeuno. A shout or too for a linkshell that's new player friendly should find get you some nice folks to work and play with.

Also do not forget about the mentor service via your help desk ingame be sure to search all areas, mentors can help you with answers about ingame questions or direct you to places where you can get those answers. Don't be discouraged this game has it's share of jerks just like anyother MMO, the trick is to keep at it until you find your niche!
