How To Properly Download the Update

AI couldn't even post on the forums because i didn't log on for the last 30 days. So I wet to log on and was getting these errors. I decided to wait about 12 hours and try later. Mine worked fine on all systems I updated. I was totally unaware that If you don't log on every 30 days your are unlinked from content ids even though your still getting charged. After I logged on for 3 seconds the problem went away.

I guess even if you PAY for service you don't get it unless you play at least once a month. I choose not to call the SE support number knowing I'd be calling in vain. They have enough to worry about with all the layoffs since the April 2nd in the LA offices.

SE should at least allow PC users to bypass their godawful upate process on POL by hosting the DDL themselves. Saves us times/stress, saves server stress, allows PS2/360 users to update faster using POL. Everybody wins. They know their update software sucks which is why they went with torrents in XIV. It's really not a hard temporary solution.
Though the ideal solution would be to just recode POL.
