Xbox 360 POL not booting up on SoA disc

Hello, I was playing earlier today, and /shutdown'd like usual, to play another game. When I put FFXI back in to continue, when I try to start the game, I'm stuck at a black screen, until I eventually get a 'Disc cannot be read' message. I've tried clearing my cache, I've tried booting up another game (That game worked), I've tried resetting the Xbox 360, but nothing works, same error on FFXI. What do I do? What went wrong?

After turning off my Xbox for a while, and reinserting the disc later, I tried again, and it loaded up. Weird.
