Well they could do Ground Tome variant in ToAU areas, or FoV version - but as you are well aware - old contents are not their top priority now. Everything pre Abyssea is considered DEAD to them. Some adjustments were made during 2011-2012 when they are stalling us for SoA. Now that SoA is here, forget everything else, even Abyssea content is dead for them. No old contents will be touched or tweak till at least early next year, if they ever do. Your best bet is to create your own party of 3 and chain Tough mobs. Or you can level beastmaster the old school way and get good enough points.
