Any future for our relic/empy/mythic?

Ive seen a few days ago, screenshots about augmented weapons with stupidly high damage coming from those new battlefields and im not even impressed but just frustrated. What will happen to the relic mythic empyrean weapons? Ok empyreans are easy to get and relic just take some time but mythic weapons are truly long, specialy for me, an average player. People invest time and money in those weapons and you at SE just blow that away like that? Maybe those new augmented weapons are hard to get but please tell us there will be future upgrade for our R/E/M weapons at least.

Do you own a Mythic??? If you are an "Average Player" then owning one of these new Augmented weapons should sound like a dream come true. Because you don't need to farm dyna everyday for 3 months for a relic or farm items for a emp or do 30k alex for a mythic. I am sure that the casual player will be able to obtain these which is what they are intended for. SE said they are suppose to enhance R/M/E so while these new weapons may beat some R/M/E it wont be for long.
