I think i literally specified "Apart from Skirmish items...", Even in VW, Your sh*t loot has some NPC Value... I mean, Arrowwood Logs. ARROWWOOD. LOGS. they NPC for 1 gil. ONE. I mean, I think Mahogany is a possible Log from it, But Arrowwood shouldn't even be a considered roll >_>
You probably should stop taking for garaanted what people write on the internet. I farmed sqirmish parts in cirdas cavern during JP prime time on a Sunday (30 people in the zone, 3-4 pt farming). We were getting 3-4 soul pyre every 5 minutes, so basically 1 pyre every 4 mob. Ended up getting 3 parts in 2 hours.I used the word apparently on purpose. Its an educated guess at best. the Maximum of 6 per zone however, is not a guess but an exact. (now, we both know where i got this information and thusly the only reason you're pointing it out.)DICTIONARY.WAT

1) As far as one knows or can see: "the child nodded, apparently content with the promise".
2) Used by speakers or writers to avoid committing themselves to the truth of what they are saying.
Still, I agree the respawn being more than ~5min is unlikely, but you do know finding 4 pyres in kinda-a-row doesn't disprove that they might have long respawn timer, I know you are a smarter man than this? You could simply have gotten very lucky and caught 4 as they respawned... its not unlikely these things are limited in number and respawn, the entire expansion has been designed for longevity, especially Skirmish.
Sound advice, the guessing game is pretty easy, Its just like opening GoV/FoV Caskets, Just 5 guesses and can sometimes like GoV/FoV boil down to a bit of luck. Just spam it until you're bored and you should have enough for a stack or so.use soul spectacles from the mummer coalition. They are free guesses that you can use indefinately. You are garranted to succeed opening the pyre, but I have to use ~10 spectacles each time. Spectacles are from mummer's minigames rewards, relatively easy to get. Dont go out farming w/o a stack of those.
