Torcleaver needs a buff

I'm going through the same thing, Zicdeh, Gradd and Raen are very aware about my misfortunes in Torcleaver numbers.

I don't think it needs a buff at all. I think I'm just doing something wrong, I don't know... even if I have a lot of ATK in my current setup (and around 10 GS skills bellow the cap I believe), I can't really reach that "stactical damage" I've been dreaming about. Inside abyssea, sometimes it goes as low as 500 dmg. Sometimes as high as 3k.

need arg off 850 attack on a normal mob(IT) inside off abyssea to cap PDIF(some mobs needing much much more) fSTR shouldn't be a prob if you want real help PM me on ffxiah will gear sets <_<

working on obtaining caladbolg atm and have started collecting pieces for it, namely workin through salvage for ares bod/trying to get ppls for twilight helm spam.

for hands im thinking heafoc(need) or af+2?
legs probably af+2, other suggestion that could be better?
feet af+2 (as above comment)
neck/waist what? the sea gorget/equivalent belt?
gonna go bombcore or bibiki on ammo
rings are a big question, two terrasouls? rajas? str?attk?
back ima stick with atheling unless some one knows for sure a better rep.
earrings are like the rings... bale/brutal/moonshade w/tp bonus/???

also, i like the look of caladbolg over colibriscythe plus its sooo much easier to get vs a tahrongi emp and hell, i still have adream of winning gil for an apoc lololololol, hell with what theyre doing with dyna who knows, maybe relics will become more obtainable, who knows at this point

I've pm'd Raen, Zic and Gradd about it for countless times. I appreciate, but I think I found my way.
