Expansion exe not executing

I am not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but after I purchased, downloaded and
ran my expansion executable, the exe would run but nothing would happen. Well let me not say nothing, I actually get a prompt saying that the file at the certain pathname couldnt be found and the exe would change from, Seekers of adoulin, to something random .tmp file. I am not quite sure as to why that would happen but if anyone else has had this issue and found a solution, please let me know what was done.

I thought you would like to know that SE directed me to this link after talking with them for weeks regarding the same problem. I have also spent hours re installing everything and after following your advice it now works. So thank you very much for this and I think SE should give you a job!

I found the right set up file in my downloads folder and then in a extracted folder. That folder gets deleted like said before if you go to far in the wrong installing process.

It should be a self-extracting 7-zip file that can be manually extracted. Might need to download the utility (free, GNU license) if you don't already have something installed that can handle it (right-click and see if you have an option to extract files).

Once unpacked, you can then run the setup executable from there.
