Save a Chocobo ride a Galka!
Not a crazy idea. Would make players stick around longer I think as the whole goal of "every job to lvl 99" suddenly gets doubled.
I also believe that a T2 version shouldnt lose anything the T1 did - as mentioned earlier, what happens if the T2 job is terrible compared to the T1 job?
The T2 should just be an even more advanced version of it's original job. Ability to get higher-teir versions of spells they currently own, more potent JA's / more JA's in general...
However this could force players to be extremely overpowered and make previously declared "godly" nm's to be nothing more then a wild rabbit.
In saying that - there will always be a rabbit that can kick your arse.
I think 99 BRD should become Time Mage because a brd has low capabilities with weapons, time mage can basically be a support job and in the ranged slot the instruments can be replaced with watches/clocks as support weapons with +stats.
I'd be down for it. Upgrade me to Dragon Knight.
BRD would become a Diva.
I guess that makes it a RDM. lol
I think the list of tier II should be something like this:
WAR > Gladiator/Berserker/Viking
MNK > Fighter/Black belt
BRD > Time Mage/Songstress
BLU > Magus/
RDM > Seer/Red Wizard
WHM > Sage/Oracle/Bishop
THF > Assassin
RNG > Sniper
BST > Necromancer
SCH > Geomancer
COR > Cannoneer/Gambler
DRG > Lancer
BLM > Black Wizard/Sorcerer
PLD > Defender
DRK > Holy Knight
SAM > Mediator
NIN > Assassin/Mutant
SMN > Devout
PUP > Clown/Trickster
DNC > Acrobat
Could go from SAM to Yagyu or Shinsengumi.
