    At the very least, I wish they'd make sure that once you did get in, you stayed in. After the "checking files" part of the update, I got another "...busy..." error. I haven't gotten beyond that yet, but if it restarts the "checking files" when I finally do, instead of continuing with the update, my health insurance company will probably be suing SE for causing my stroke.

    Actually I hit retry over 100 times, went thru the files scan about 20 times...and never got even 1 file downloaded! 6hrs later I'm just stressed in few hours I'll have the stroke...wonder how I'll look tomorrow morning!

    Thread Title: Get disconnected from the server during the login to the game.Dowload Update

    Details:
    Ever since I experienced a dowload crash on Feb. 5th, 2011 at around 20:30 ESTMAr 27th 2013, I am unable to log in to FINAL FANTASY XI. Every time I try to log in, I receive a “FFXI-3001 No response from server.Error POL-1160” about 3 minutes after I make an attempt. I have tried resetting my cable modem and router but that didn’t help. I have even tried reinstalling the driver for the NIC but that didn’t help either. I have tried to contact any SE person who caused this to yell they should know this was going to happen!

    Steps:

    Experienced unhability FINAL FANTASY XI's team.
    Attempted to restard dowload immediately after the dowload crash by restarting the game.
    Received the error every time I retry (about once each 30-50 seconds upon crashing).


    Gave hundreds tries but the result was the same.
    After restarting both cable modem and router, made another attempt to log back in to the game but the result was the same.
    I won't even try this step because is your fault: Reinstalled the driver of the NIC on my PC but still, the result was the same. (yes is the same for a million players...epic fail)
