as an aside, i'd like to do an "um, wtf?" post of my own.

downloaded seekers and installed it and registered it, when i go to log in it says "expansion pack not installed; you won't be able to do stuff." is this hopefully just because the expansion isn't live, or is there something grievously wrong with the amazon install? my logo is still greyed out but i thought that was normal for non-live expansions. anyone else getting this problem?

i agree that makes no sense, especially since i ordered mine like 2 weeks after you ordered yours. i DL'd from amazon.com, was supposed to be a 12gigabyte thing according to their site but the installed path on my computer is only 414 MB. for anyone wondering. the update to my FFXI after that when I went to log back in was around 30,000 file-checks, but then an instant "update complete." So, I assume it correctly installed. Also for anyone wondering.

also, IDK how anyone's getting the music box. i got the promo code but their promo page just wants me to checkout, and the code just reduces the price to 0. i've done that but still no link to download it, and i can't seem to find one on the se store. o.O

since demonoid no longer exists, if anyone has a rapidshare or something it wouldn't be hard to put the self-installer online. anybody who ordered from amazon could do it, i just don't have a rapidshare.
