I can not really attack this from an absolute proof stand point (i no longer have the link). However i know that Steam all ready has SOA written into their program. just like when i bought Last Remnant (hard copy PC release) and installed it onto steam even though it was not yet released on Steam itself. This should hold true also for Final Fantasy 11 and any expansions that are written into the Steam program regardless of its availability on Steam.

You have to put more info then that, are you saying you bought it from steam, and are still using Steam and are trying to use it in steam still.

Or are you saying that you bought your original from steam and are running it outside of steam.

I actually want it to be part of the steam install. Another problem is in the future if you wanted to reinstall SoA again, you would have to use an outside source again? And would that outside source conflict with the current install or the future install of the offical SoA release on steam?

To many ifs... not enough answers, i dont think we can even have enough answers until Steam releases thier version of SoA to find out anyways. Again, probably best to just wait.

I also would find it hard for SE to answer these questions also, seeing as it would undermine thier relationship with steam by side steping them on chance to sell thier copies. So again we can only fumble in the dark. Is one week or two really going to matter, probably miss all the ego maniacs who are trying to get to the top anyways.

I can see the yells already... Only uber people please, I need to get to the top again! no thanks, I'll wait them out!
