    If gear is going to be so important...

    If gear is going to be what the players rely on for advancement, and if defense is going to matter now, maybe there shouldn't be so many monsters that strip you naked.

    At least the process of putting clothes back on should be streamlined.

    Pressing 3 buttons to put your clothes back on is apparently "skilled play" in the opinion of whatever idiot decided a gear strip move was cool and should be spammed by every boss.

    Of course, one could consider that it's meant to be a temporary "strip" effect and hence lasts a minimum amount of time- that is, what it takes to macro your gear back into place.

    Either that, or let us have our moogles along for fights so that can do that job-change zap that also happens to instantly re-dress us in the process.
