yes I was reading this on another forum. I can not understand how they are up & we are down. I do not know how many people are still playing that game but I do know their player base is HUGE. In late 2008 early 2009 they had over 1 million people playing. So allow for changes in players life styles and the such lets say they only have 200k players left. That is still equivlent to FFXI. They are able to run their servers and we can't? Part of the reason for their downtime was also for scheduled maintenance.

problem at SE is not the power its the personnel. getting them to and from work trains and streets were closed off for most areas but now most of that has been fixed with work around. So as long as SE don't need there international workers and there ISP is stable we could be back up very soon. As for MGS yes I know they got it back up but not much to running that game its not even close to same leage as FFXI for operations wize takes alot more to run FFXI then does MSG.
Yeah it is simply a countdown to find out how the progress is going.
