First Click and Buy, now Digital River...

Why is it SE can not pick a place we have actually heard of and used before for us to spend our money at!? Click and Buy as well as Digital River are both places that have been screwing up your players. People can not place orders this time, we cant buy the expansion, we can not get the promo you are trying to give out. What you need to do is be smart and use places we do know about, like Steam, Gamestop, Amazon, these are companies and things we have used before and heard all about. I don't know about anyone else here, but until SE made us use C&B, I had no idea it existed or what it was, the same goes for Digital River now.

Please, stop using these stupid sites no one knows about, give us the game on a site or system we actually know about so we can get the expansion rather than waiting for weeks past the day its out. This is another extension of your bad service. Its 6 days away and a large amount of people are unable to order the game from the region they are in because you do not have it in stores for them. Posts on this forum have been lies, telling us it would be resolved in the next few days, but here we are, less than a week away, and still no news on it. Its terrible how you treat your players, you can not even supply them with a way to buy an expansion you made, preventing yourself from making money off of it even because your unable to get it in the proper vendors for people to buy it.

I can, yes, not everyone though, thats my problem. I have already pre-ordered it from Amazon for both PC and Xbox, but other players like EU and Canada so far as I know still can not. If I remember correctly one of those sites have only one of the two versions, one has Ultimate the other has the stand alone expansion. The fact they are doing so terrible at this when they are as big of a company as they are is pathetic, this is the kind of error I would expect of a new company shipping out its first game, and even then this seems abnormally bad. Its taking them way to long to get everyone the ability to buy it no matter the country.

If they want to set it up on only a few stores, try picking good ones, not ones no one knows of or can figure out to use. People are being prevented from ordering their expansions because of a free promo which is out of stock and they can not remove from the order. That is a load of BS... As for not being many people who are going to buy it, I disagree, there seem to be a lot of people complaining about the problem all over these forums, I know many people in game from these countries who play and would buy it, I am sure the 50 or so people this includes are not nearly the only people who would buy it. So its not likely that they are saving money or making more, rather they are losing it, and possibly losing players as well, which is even more wasted money in the long run on their part.

I think that's been a problem with the player base for a long time. Too many people are willing to just "take what they set up" and even leap to defend SE when they are clearly failing to properly support their customers.

Demon is right on taking them to task for their nonsense. They may not be what they once were, but they're still Square Enix. They can get this expansion distributed properly if they really want to. There's really no excuse for them using some no-name company. If it were something they were giving away for free I could see them cutting some corners on it, but they're charging full price for this thing. I expect a full price level of service.

"I've never heard of them" isn't the same thing as "they're a no-name company." Besides, there's still Amazon.

I still think I should be able to just use Paypal instead of having to go through 2 3rd parties just to use my Paypal account. I thought Paypal was pretty standardized at this point.
