ok so as most already know, the xbox 360 controller triggers don't work on PC, up til now I've been on windows 7 using XBCD but I just got a new comp and it runs windows 8, so I went to get my XBCD driver on the new comp and in big capitals it said XBCD MAY NEVER WORK ON WINDOWS 8! so now I have to figure out a way to get my triggers working on windows 8, anyone managed this or have any suggestions?

and on this note SE please update controller support, this has been a problem for years it should have been fixed by now...

I'm sorry, I thought you had ASKED for suggestion and I gave you an honest alternative that does not take more than an hour to adjust to the changes but if you insisted that SE MUST somehow swap out their controller interface, then you can just keep waiting because frankly, I dont see that as a priority for them at all. There are so many things broken with this game right now that this should not be a high priority at all.

I asked for suggestions on getting my controller to work that is the main purpose of this thread because the driver I have been using up until now does not work on windows 8 and may never work on it so I'm asking for suggestions on a new one that works on windows 8, asking for it to be fixed with the official driver is just a side note, and it should have been a priority and something that should have been sorted out within a week of it being a problem, it's sad that it has gone on this long.
