    Adjustment to Merit Weapon Skills?

I thought I read somewhere that SE was considering changing the stat modifiers on the Merit Weapon skills. Is this true?

I believe what I read stated an initial modifier of 65%, increasing by 5% each merit afterwards.

    Merit Point Weapon Skills

This is a topic we have seen in threads asking to increase the cap on the merit point weapon skill category.
Instead of adjusting the cap value, we are currently looking into adjusting the modifier values so that these weapon skills can be used with a single merit point.

We are envisioning to make it so 1 merit point will yield a 65% status modifier, and each point afterwards will grant an addition 5% for a maximum of 85% (no changes to the max value).

This is something I desperately want to see ASAP! lol With GEO seeming to have decent club skill (gets hexa strike) might be fun to play around with the club merit ws (which isnt worth the 100 merits to 5/5 just to muck around on a new job)

As I stand looking out from my mog house window, I reminisce about the old days and the many ups and downs of my adventures throughout Vana'diel.

It is then that I know achievement.

Thank you very much for that link. I certainly hope they move forward with that adjustment.
