    Don't know why ppl keep creating new thread on PS2 limitations to do with HDD 1st off the HDD is not the main problem its the memory which nothing can be done about. 2nd If you feel you need a bigger HDD not that hard to remove old one and put new one in. I already replaced the original 40gig HDD with a 80gig,all you have to have is the utility disk that came with the original HDD and FFXI game so you can format new HDD to PS2 standards

    Yes the FFXI offical HDD is 40gigs and your right its not even close to being filled but for some reason ppl keep confusing memory limitations to mean the HDD whitch it does not it means the RAM there is only so much of it and can only buffer so much so not much we can do.
