Synergy Problem with the items not going in my backpack

I can't obtain my items until I sort my inventory. The exact wording is, "You cannot obtain the Flask of Vitriol Come back after sorting your inventory." I sent my Vitriol and Mythril leaves in the mail after relogging and shutdown. I have 75/80 in my inventory. I do not know what else to do. I cannot work on my synergy until I get these items out of the machine. Please help.

I have 75/80 in my inventory

likely your problem. You are trying to retrieve 6 items, but only have 5 free spaces. The furnace doesn't send them back as 4 leaves and 2 vitriol (two partial stacks of items), but as 4 seperate leaves and 2 seperate vitriols (6 individual items)--so you need 6 free slots to get them back. Free more space in your gobbie bag (ie 73/80 if you can) and try again.

I have had my inventory at 78/80 and it still gave me my items back. I had the vitriol and the the leaves in my inventory so it stacked. Thank you for the response
