Not Here to complain, just a few changes that i think would make ffxi a bit less choppy. This is mostly information I have gathered from friends that are trying the game for the first time.

Attack Animation:
  • Eliminate the amount of time it takes to redraw a weapon. When Facing multiple enemies this is a hassle. (New Player suggestion: Allow for the option to be in a attack stance permanently unless it is wanted for the player to sheath their weapon)
  • Enhance the reliability of the auto attack function.
  • When death occurs in a major battle, please remove the "putting away weapon animation" upon resurrection most time this results in double deaths since you just wait a period of time after resurrection before being able to move.

Job Abilities:
  • Make some job abilities instant without the animation that halts your Avatar in place. (This can become encumbering for jobs that use Job abilities very often, for example Puppet master, Corsair)

Ranged Attack
  • Allow for the Ranged attack to be a viable permanent attack stance. With the option to switch between Ranged attack, and Melee Attack.
