Isn't it about time to give DipperYuley his TH back?

The highly controversial decision to take away TH from Faithful Falcorr and Dipper Yuley has been hotly debated with no satisfactory reason why a native thief pet cannot have th3. I know SE did this to appease the masses because of the influx of bst's into dynamis, but now that delve weapons have overwhelmed relic weapons, barely anyone does dynamis anymore. But out pets remain nerfed.

I'm not asking for th back on Fathful Falcorr. He got attack to compensate for the loss of TH. But Dipper Yuley got nothing and has decreased attack. If you wish to decrease Yuley's attack even further so that he can have th3, then that is an acceptable loss. And remember, it's not the beastmaster that's getting th3, but the thief pet.

While it sucks the lose of TH3. I feel that a TH+ Weapon or such, like they originally said, would be better. As a THF, I don't want someone to have a higher TH skill that me, but if I've not taken the time to actually improve it, especial when it's available, then I deserve to be left behind by other jobs. I'd like the Pet +TH item more so, so that I can use more than just Dipper or Falcorr in a given situation and still see a little bit of a return. Seeing how most of the jug pets which were my original source of income have been so far undercut, it's hardly worth making them.

You can still use Yuly for the wind resistance and AoE Attack Down. Not really seeing how Yuly is so inferior to Falcorr (I'll admit I'd rather have a hippogryph following me around than a ladybug...).

If you honestly think that yuli is even half as strong as falcorr... you must not play bst. It's pretty blatantly obvious the difference in the 2.

Yes Karah, pretty sure that's intentional. Falcorr is supposed to be stronger, but Yuly has other qualities.

If there's an enemy you're really noticing a problem with, it could be because of the defense adjustment. But I'd say that's more a global issue with all pets that SE could work on, instead of just spending time adjusting DipperYuly.

They did. They gave him approximately 20 more att. You could only tell the difference on way EP's.

What other qualities. They have the same eva, the same TH, Spiral spin's acc down and the paralyze from choke breath both prevent as much damage and are frontal cones. Sudden lunge and back heel both prevent casting just as often. (but back heel doesn't damage falcorr to use it.) But falcorr has more hp, more attack, higher base damage, better damaginf ws's, and is far cheaper to make. If you're betting your hopes on a 30 second 2 minute recast att-% that isn't even noticeable in it's weakness, I don't think you play BST much.

And the defense adjustments were player only. They didn't affect NPC's, pets or enemies at all.

And no we shouldn't give yuley TH back, because any pets weaker than the new ones they're going to add will be worthless, just as pre 75 jugs are today. We deserve a god damned behemoth jug with TH 3 for no reason because it's a DRK/WAR with endispel on it's hits, made from hare meat and distilled water if we're gonna get the same enhancement delve weapons gave DD's and alternator gave PUP.

And why is it that only the delve axe gives pet acc? And they still haven't said what they're going to do with relics. SE, what should I do with my Guttler and why does it not talk to me?

Noisome Powder is actually a decent AoE to get things off you. Spiral Spin's Accuracy Down is not the same as Paralyze. A situation where both are used and stacked has to be accounted for. I'm also pretty sure Falcorr doesn't resist wind like Yuly does, and I remember using that quite a bit.

Additionally, we're comparing a vermin jug marked useable at Level 76 vs. a bird jug intended for use at Level 86. It must mean something to SE, or they would be identical, wouldn't they? (Falcorr is also newer than Yuly)

So I don't know. Like I said, I'd say the performance difference is intentional, but Yuly could still have occasional use today, mainly on something that likes wind.

You sure about that? I've seen numerous reports of increased damage taken, and I kinda agree with them, like something feels a bit off.
