I agree that there should be jug pets available to cover all physical damage types.

However, as long as it is mostly to deal with lv75 content, I also don't think it would be too much of a problem to deal the piercing damage yourself, instead of with the pet, but whatever.

Keep in mind that these limbus issues you're talking about are not bst-specific. What do you think MNKs think about blunt-immune floors? How do you think DRGs enjoy piercing-immune floors?

As a BST, you have access to slashing and blunt easily, and only have to sacrifice kill speed when it comes to piercing. You're really not any worse off than most other jobs.
