Devs: Familiars - piercing attack type?

On floor 2 I change to daggers and fire up an apkallu jug. Agreed though, being able to cover piercing with a pet would be nice. I was thinking it would be cool if there were a set of JAs that we could use to change our pets' damage type for a couple minutes. Training: Piercing, Training: Slashing, Training: Blunt, or something along those lines.

to turn falco into a better killing machine...like if he could go blunt vs skele, be amazing but a lil to strong

Mainly what I was trying to get at wasn't so much as promoting a new pet but them to look back at some of the pets we received recently and making repairs. Yes I will not deny I would love a new pet I really would but I just don't know if we ask enough if they will actually come forth with them.
As for the whole limbus ref I gave was mainly a suggestion of why I don't solo that particular route. ^.^ Besides the fact still like doing stuff like limbus with friends more then solo purposes.
And to sum it all up to the O.P. I am one to stand behind you on wanting to see at least one new pet but I would also like to see some repairs done to at least one of the "new" released pets.

It would be great if you could give Summoners some useful piercing Blood Pacts as well. At the very least, you could change one of the 70 pacts or Eclipse Bite to piercing.

It would be nice to have a pet that dealt piercing damage. It could be named Pokey Pete or Pointy Pauline.

Most swords a DRG can use are slashing (I'm pretty sure just Joyeuse is the exception), DRG also gets Staff.

All that said due to how BST currently works it just doesn't make sense imo to make weapons to get around this issue over a pet.

or they can just use draca couse wich has slashing dmg .
