I think that it's really silly that these affects don't stack when pretty much every other enfeeble in the game stacks with one another.
It's very inconsistent when you look at every other debuff.
Why can Slow and Paralyze stack? Slow and Paralyze have similar effects. They make your target attack less often, yet they stack.
The same could be said for Gravity and Bind. They make your foe move less, yet you can stack them if you want to. Why is it when it comes to Dia and Bio this is not the case? I've never understood this.
I realize that Dia and Bio do two different things. One lowers Attack while the other lowers defense, I get that, but they are still similar in that they lower the stats of the same "family".
Let' take a look at Slow and Paralyze again. Slow obviously lowers the mobs attack speed, while Paralyze has a chance to prevent an attack. They are two different effects, but in the end they accomplish the same goal: to prevent the mob from hitting as much as possible. Both Bio and Dia should be able to stack to lower your foes stats. That's the goal of both spells. At least that's my opinion.
Bio is just another wasted spell unless you're soloing/kiting. Anyone in their right mind almost always uses Dia over Bio anyway on anything that matters, but at times you get the occasional BLM that feels like overwriting your Dia II with Bio II...that gets really annoying. Allowing them to stack would remove this annoyance. This change would also compliment the Defense update.
I'm not asking for this to be top on the priority list, I'm simply asking for this to at least be considered sometime in the future when (hopefully) other major issues are fixed. Thank you for reading.
