So what people are saying in this thread is:

People who are good with computers don't get hacked. So if you're not good with computers, you should definitely play on a PC because that will be safer.

You don't have to be "good with computers" to protect yourself from threats. You mostly just need common sense, e.g. don't visit or download stuff from unknown websites without checking with other people you trust first, install an antimalware program and make sure it's working and up to date and you use it, don't share your accounts / passwords /etc with anyone, keep Windows up to date, keep firewall turned on, yada yada yada. Virtually all security comprimises are preventable. Oh, and use the security token. virtually any breach while using the token is going to be entirely your own fault; but Account restores on accounts with the token are exempt from the one-time restore policy.
