A more secure web browser that can block flash and silverlight, and only load what you want it to, can block Scripts from running on your PC etc.

So you mean, like, every browser released in the last decade? Although none of that is necessary, there are things outside of your browser you can do to prevent that (customized HOSTS file), and that's only needed in the first place if you go to dubious websites or follow the links fake GMs send you in the game. And if you do that, nothing will protect you, not on a console or PC.

and tell that to the WoW players who got their accounts hacked even though they used tokens....

There are no such players.
