Yeah, my thinking was you make it undesirable for any specific item to be traded multiple times by giving it a lower point value. For example if a NM that drops an item can only spawn once a day then it's worth more than an item dropped by a NM that can spawn every 2hrs. For example, Velocious Belt would be worth a lot because King Arthro only spawns once a day and has less than 10% drop rate. That's some rare gear right there, but it's antiquated gear that people don't use too much anymore... and people don't try to get anymore (at least no one I have talked to)
I wouldn't want to exclude items like Sirocco Kukri because people already have them and have no use for them anymore. I think AF could be included in there as well just not worth much (I don't think those quests are repeatable but I can't remember tbh).
It's just a suggestion that I hope the devs take to heart and implement. I think it would make just about everyone happy. Let them clean up inventory and work toward some goals they may not have any other way to achieve. It would hopefully get players into zones and content that are not entered much anymore and give people more options for things to do when no events seem to be going on on their server.
